Start and Finish Instructions

Start: The course starts at the Capilano Park road near the Salmon Hatchery. For those who have done the summer VK series it starts at the same spot as VK Van Damme. The trail is signposted as Palisades Trail. Follow the stairs up to Nancy Greene Avenue, then ascend all the way up Nancy Greene to the base of the Grouse Mountain resort, then connect across to the BCMC trail via the Baden Powell trail and take the BCMC the rest of the way.

Finish: The course finishes at the top of the BCMC trail as it finishes at the Grouse Mountain chalet.

Description

Starting at the capilano park hatchery Palisades trail, competitors run up the staircases up toward the parking area and across Nancy Greene way where you'll ascend up the right side of the road to the Grouse mountain base, before connecting through the Grouse Grind gate - taking the Baden Powell trail to the Baden-Powell/BCMC intersection signpost and then taking the BCMC all the way to the Grouse Mountain chalet. Finish the course as the BCMC emerges at the chalet.
